We have spec'd a portable system to make multitrack location recording possible. Using this system, based around a MacBook Pro, we can now record anywhere (within reason) whether that be the studio, a rehearsal space or someone's lounge. Check out the new specs here.
Stu is a Digidesign Certified Instructor (DCI) and teaches on the following Pro Tools courses at Deep Blue Sound: 101, 110, 201 and 210. If you would like to take one of the Pro Tools courses, please contact Deep Blue Sound directly via: shortcourses@deepbluesound.co.uk.
All of our music lessons are based in the relaxed surroundings of our new studio. We currently offer lesons in piano, saxophone, clarinet, recorder, guitar, bass and drums. From classical to rock, beginners to graded exams and everything in between. Please contact us for details.
We are in the process of building a new studio space. When completed, it will offer a large treated recording area with customisable acoustics to create dead or live spaces. Plus on of the best spec'd listening rooms in our area. Please see the blog below for details of construction.
Welcome to Beliefspace Studio. We are currently building a new recording space in the heart of Plymouth. Check our New Studio page for details.
Check out 'Plymouth Music Room'.
We have set-up a space where local musicians can interact, network, exchange ideas and promote themselves. If you live in Plymouth or the surrounding area check it out by clicking here »
Check out 'The Fretted Apprentice'.
The aim of the Fretted Apprentice is to provide an insight into how music theory relates to the modern guitarist. It also features several different systems to help memorise patterns on the fretboard, which should provide the guitarist a useful tool for memorising the neck. So if you don't know your CAGED or Modal systems, check it out by clicking here »
The studio is now plastered. Just got to wait for it to dry now and we can start the next phase.
Day 2: Corridor ceiling - done, Control Room ceiling - done, Control Room walls - almost done. Work continues on Sunday.
Here's the pics from day one of plastering. Recording room is almost there; ceiling done, walls done, just a bit around the door to do. Control room has been started. Plastering continues tomorrow and Saturday.
The frames are going in. Green glue and double boards fitted. We're almost ready for plastering.
The wood for the door frames arrived this morning. PSE in various sizes, all ready to go.
The dodgy gas pipes were removed yesterday, by a Gas Safe plumber, and replaced with a single pipe into the boiler.
And, here's my stash of Green Glue for the extra boarding next week...
"There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth,
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth."Bob Dylan
